The big rivals: Sydney Swans V West Coast Eagles (from Perth)
(Sydney Swans in red and white, West Coast Eagles in blue and yellow)
Notice that the playing field is round. I have never seen this for any other sport.
To score, they have to kick the ball between the center posts (6 pts.) or between the posts on either side (1 pt.)

The clock doesn't stop, even if somebody gets tackled. They just fight for the ball, and the game just continues. You can only pass the ball by kicking it, or by hitting it out of your arm (kind of like an underhand serve in volleyball).

The winner: Sydney Swans! 106-101

After the game, we took the train from Olympic Park, back to Central, and then back to Wollongong. It seemed like such a long train ride. Didn't get back until 1.30 am or so.
On the way back, some kid (15 or so) decided to touch the train as it was taking off from one of the stations. He somehow got caught and fell between the platform and the train right by our window. Since we weren't going very fast, the train was able to stop quickly, and his friend was able to pull him out before he went all the way under. Him and his friends quickly ran off. I doubt he'll ever try that again...
Went for a run with Kim today, and she kicked my ass. She did about 10k. I was lazy and only did a 8.5K or so... She's just too fast for me. The run was nice though. We went by North Beach, the reserve, by the lighthouses, and down by South Beach.
